Personal Relationship with the Savior

Ever feel inadequate? I do a lot in my faith because here’s a fun fact about me. I can’t rattle off a ton of scripture from memory. I know like 2 … John 3:16 and Genesis 1:1 because that’s the first line of the Bible! Through my experience this past month or so I have learned that faith is so much more than knowledge. Now don’t get me wrong, I still strive to have scripture in my mind so deep it’s like a 90’s song! This year it was my goal to grow deeper in faith. To spend more time in prayer and In scripture. On May 28th my goal was thrusted into deep waters. I have learned that faith is also living out God’s truth and to show others how God is so good even in the middle of a hurricane. If you look at the pharisees in the Bible they were full of knowledge but they lacked a relationship with God. I’m not saying don’t “do religion” I’m saying a relationship is so important. When you look at me you might see a strong woman, but what you’re really seeing is an incredibly broken woman being carried by Gods strength and relationship I have with him. If you don’t know the love of our savor let’s chat. I’d love for you to have this same hope that I can carry too. You don’t have to be full of scripture or even know where to begin. The first step is always the hardest but once start walking God will guide you. It’s so amazing I want you to experience it too! God is truly so amazing especially in the middle of heartache. Come taste the goodness of Him! 🦋💜🐓
